OVERVIEW

Tony has developed his lean skills and knowledge through 1 to 1 sensei training and global exposure to various Toyota plants (Canada – France – Japan – USA) during his 9 years at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK. Tony has a comprehensive understanding of all Lean tools, techniques and required behaviors to ensure success as used in the Toyota Production System. Tony has a proven record of project management delivering multi million pound projects; the ability to operate at all levels within an organization (green and brown field sites) and across all functions of a business (production and non production environments)

Lean Expert

Complete Toyota Production system expert, Specializes in training development delivery and coaching of the Lean tools and Lean behaviors. Has delivered 3 week and 3 day Lean Learning Academes / Boot camps to executive’s and middle management within manufacturing, service and support. Facilitation and delivery of Hoshin Kanri and its methodologies, from executive Blue Sky down to level 4 & 5 Team Charters and implementation.

Process Improvement

Expertise in all of the Toyota Lean Tools & Toyota production System, Performance Visualisation, 5S, Standardised Work, Kaizen, P.P.S., P.D.C.A., Kamishibai & robust Concern & Countermeasure methodologies to develop & improve any process. Value Stream Mapping, Process mapping, Process Confirmation, 7 Wastes, Situational Leadership, 6 Sigma, Service Blue Printing & Hoshin Kanri

Project Management

Delivery of 4 face lifts and 2 new model introductions, new facility design for new model introductions both at Toyota and Bentley Motors, responsible for the delivery of the Bentley GTC taking it from a engineering proto type build into production pilot build then into series production. Recruitment and training of personnel to ensure successful delivery of new product launch fro Bentley.

Technical Maintenance Plan, development of a process to review rail assets to identify and deliver reliability and efficiency improvements.

Development of SCALLOP (Supply Chain & Lean Learning Operating Principles) 3 day work shop, delivering a cradle to grave simulation focusing on Lean tools and techniques and best practices for Supply Chain Management Processes, delivered to middle and senior management.

Development of a Fault management process & Fault management system to drive Efficiency Improvements, provide transparency and thus the ability to react and control in live time for a Rail Operator.
